The DDS sought to exhibit their collection of youth artworks online. I proposed a virtual gallery and shop, as they were also looking to release merchandise.

Workshops
During the Summer of 2021, a series of art + technology based, educational workshops were designed and held for youth in Atlanta, Georgia.

Gallery
Workshop outputs were curated and documented in unique digital forms. The gallery is set in a digital twin of the real-world Hamilton Hawell House.

Shop
An in-game shop based on the DDS headquarter was created which features digital representations of merch that links to the NPO’s online store.

Avatars
Avatars, representations of the youth artists, guide the viewer through the galleries to present their work.

Community
Youth artists and their families worked together to contribute to completion of the gallery.

Voice
Youth artists and instructors lent their voices for a personalized experience.
Workshops
The gallery features workshop outputs from which youths learned how to create 3D scans, how to take 360° images, how to tell stories through zines and where youths were given an introduction to block coding.

DDS Shop
The ddS Shop is a virtual shop where buyers can interact with digial models of ddS merchandise which includes apparel and artists’ prints. Clicking on the merch reveals product information and a redirect link to the item’s purchase page.
